3. University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI)
When it comes to studying medicine in The Caribbean, University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI) is the creme de la creme, ranked number one in The Caribbean and 35 globally.The multinational campus has welcomed students starting with 1948, later, in 1949, the Medical School being introduced.
The university is aiming to improve cultural and economical growth by developing a public system which serves 18 English-speaking countries in the Caribbean. In addition, UWI has students from North America, Europe, Asia and Africa, too.
